Founded by former ESPN Creative Director and Director of Creative Technology David Saphirstein, Venue Edge draws on its extensive experience in sports production, technology, branding and sponsorship to help you improve fan interaction at stadiums and arenas around the country.
“David and the Venue Edge team helped us create the best fan experience we’ve had at our bowl games.”
“Given the sacrifices our student-athletes have made this season, we want to make sure the 2021Air Force Reserve Big West Basketball Championships presented by The Hawaiian Islands has the look and feel of a really big-time event. The team at Venue Edge have been a great partner in helping us create a first-rate experience digitally and throughout the venue.” – Dan Butterly, Big West Commissioner
Since 2001, the Big WestConference championships have been held in Anaheim, Calif. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the tournament was moved to Las Vegas, Nev., for the first time since 1995. Venue Edge created a new design look and animations for all of the
in-venue elements seen on the video and LED fascia boards throughout the arena. We also created elements seen through out the Mandalay Bay complex to promote the Big West Championships. The new design brought together the look and style of the city into the arena to create a big time look and feel.
“Venue Edge provides outstanding creative designs and animations that showcase the Mountain West and it’s member institutions."
- Javan Hedlund, Mountain West Conference Associate Commissioner, External Communications Strategy
Venue Edge worked with the Mountain West to create a terrific experience for all student-athletes competing inside the venue and for fans following the tournament games over digital and social channels as spectators are not allowed to attend this year’s championships. The VE team updated video highlights, LED video boards and provided additional support to the conference. One of the few NCAA Division I conferences able to host a complete basketball tournament in 2020, the Mountain West, in partnership with Venue Edge, introduced a newly re-branded design and style featuring the city of Las Vegas in and around the arena.
"David and his team partnered with GPTV to produce engaging content to help grow our presence within the polo community and to introduce the sport to new fans of the game. He was always focused on being sure the content was in line with our strategies and goals. David worked closely with our in-house production team, mentoring and teaching as the season went on."
- Shannon Stilson, Assistant Vice President, Marketing, USPA Global Licensing, Inc.
Venue Edge worked alongside the Global Polo TV marketing and production teams to create content for their OTT platform that would engage both experienced polo fans and introduce this amazing sport to a new audience. We also produced shows for CBS highlighting the US Open Polo Championship, the sports premier event. During this process we helped with determining what should air on the platform. David also mentored and trained the production staff.
"David and his Venue Edge team have been great partners in taking our fan experience and engagement to the next level."

"David has worked with our team since the opening of the stadium to develop workflows that maximize our resources to create an exciting in-stadium atmosphere. His experience and knowledge of the stadium and broadcast production process has been invaluable to our Club." -Kevin Coulthart – VP Marketing, Orlando City Soccer Club
We began working with Orlando City prior to the opening of Orlando City Stadium which is home to the Orlando City Soccer Club and the Orlando Pride. We developed and continue to refine the production workflow based on available resources. During the first season we created a system that both live streamed matches while delivering an exciting in stadium show without having to duplicate any equipment or crew.
We assess your current technology and look for ways to utilize it to improve the fan experience. We'll
also make recommendations on technology that will help you reach your goals.
Many organizations are not utilizing their current resources to their full potential. An outside set of eyes
can help identify existing resources that can be used to create new revenue. We can help you identify new sponsors and assist in the sales effort.
Venue Edge will look for ways to align resources and technology to avoid redundancy. We can
also leverage our relationships to find possible savings.
Fan engagement doesn't just happen at the venue. We work with your team to
engage your fans all week long.
Venue Edge will help you create new activations that will help attract new sponsors
while engaging your fans in a creative and innovative way.
Instead of looking for new resources and relationships we can find ways to
leverage what you already have in new creative ways that will also increase revenue.
We design and create graphic looks and elements, as well as creating automated stats pages, score bugs and other data management including social media aggregation.
As a full service production company we produce everything from short in-stadium features to long form branding and sales pieces. We also supply mobile production facilities, directors/producers and crews, and consult on permanent build outs.
We aim to create technology to enhance the experience and bring what the fan expects at home to the stadium. This includes 1st & 10 lines and other virtual technology to help tell the story and generate new revenue streams.
The FlexStream system supports multi-media content, creates custom channels, and inserts advertising on live broadcasts. Venue Edge offers system design and installation, graphic design and event management of the system.
Today’s fan expectations are higher than ever. Our web, mobile, and expanded digital offerings put you in prime position to reach fans of all types. You will be able to drive active fan engagement on location, from their homes, and between events.
